Botanical inspired watercolour painting workshops.
Course description.
This one-day workshop is designed as an introduction to the art of watercolour painting. You will be lead through a series of painting exercises, with practical demonstrations, gaining experience in the different painting techniques along with developing your brush handling skills.
We will touch on colour theory and how to use a limit palette to get a full range of colour mixes.
Working from observation, you will complete your own botanical portrait painting of indigenous flora, utilizing the skills and techniques learnt.
Some art making experience welcome but not essential.
All materials provided.
